The Oklahoma Alliance for Animals has just successfully completed their fund raising project to purchase a cargo van to be used to rescue and transport animals in need of assistance.
The maiden trip for the van, named Wheels of Hope, was Tuesday night, May 26th, from the Tulsa Animal Shelter to the Dumb Friends League in Denver with 17 dogs on board.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The Tulsa Animal Shelter has made arrangements for Denver to accept a load of animals the 3rd Wednesday of each month beginning in June. We desperately need volunteer drivers to transport the animals…two for each trip. This involves driving all night Tuesday, leaving the Tulsa Shelter around 10:00 PM and arriving in Denver to unload around 9:00 AM Wednesday.
OAA will pay the expenses of these trips – thanks to the kind offer of a volunteer.
Please e-mail Mike & Kathy Nobles at nwanc@worldnet.att.net if you are interested in volunteering for this vital need or if you need more information.

As always, we so appreciate your kind help and assistance. Your caring means so much to the animals, many of whom have not had much kindness in their lives.
