The Tulsa pet community is sadder today with the passing of Vincent Luna. He became a friend to our pets by his untiring commitment to the Tulsa Dog Parks and a friend to many of us who came to know him in his 10 years in Tulsa. Vinnie has gone to where diabetes can’t hurt him anymore, but we will miss our friend.

Very sorry to hear about Vinny’s passing. He was a great guy, as I’m sure those of you who got to know him can attest. I went to high school with him.
Same here. I went to H.S. with him as well. I’m glad to hear and still had such an impact on people in his adult life. It’s nice to know that so many people are thinking of him today.
I met Vinnie when we both worked together at Trase Miller, selling vacation packages to people. He was so smart and you knew that after talking with him for as little as 5 minutes. I always wondered why he wasn’t in politics. People liked Vinnie. How could you not like Vinnie? He cared about everyone and if he was passionate about something, you knew it. When I left Trase Miller, my run-in’s with Vinnie became scarce and so I was saddened and surprised to hear he was in the hospital with complications due to his diabetes. In all the years having known him, I didn’t know he had the disease. You see, Vinnie didn’t use his strife and illness as an excuse. Even in the end, he went out how he lived his life..fighting the good fight. I googled Vinnie’s name today in hopes of reading his obituary but came across this website instead. I had no idea is was so involved in the pet community. I am not surprised though. He loved animals. I can say today that the animal world lost a great friend and advocate in Vincent Luna.
I miss you Vinnie…..
