Start Time: 1:00
Date: 2009-10-11
Fall is trying to push it’s way in this past weekend so it has spurred us to set the date and time for AAA III. In case you don’t remember what that stands for it is not about automobiles, taking a trip, or insurance! It’s a fun day set aside to enjoy the company of those
Awesome Autumn Airedales!
We will try something a bit different this year–coming together on a Sunday afternoon.
The date: October 11
The Time: beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Who: Anyone who has, has had, wants another, loves the breed–and the breed is Airedales! Kids are welcome–but no special plans are being made for them. As you need to have your dales under control–likewise your kids!
Where Dear Airedalers!
: at Joanne Hartfield’s lake home east of Adair, OK When you indicate you want to come and from where, she will e-mail directions.
The Food: For our first two AAA’s we had tremendous food choices. A bit later I’ll send out a sketchy menu and ask everyone to indicate what they want to bring. The idea is that we might graze a bit as we gather, and eat about 4:00pm which will allow for homeward treks to be reasonable
The Events: Planned events, games for dogs and owners, lots of sharing, picture taking, and a silent auction to benefit Airedale Rescue. Walking by the lake, swimming for dogs if you like. Horseshoe pits available.
What you need to do NOW: Put the date on your calendar, send me an e-mail with a Yes I plan to be there, or No, not this year! An approx. number of people–and who–will be coming with you; invite others that you think might be interested and give them my e-mail address and/or telephone number if they have questions–also send me their e-mail addresses. Plan something for the auction if you care to. We aren’t looking for really expensive items–like under $20.00(I know that’s expensive in this economy!), and they do not HAVE to be dog related, but those sold best last year.
Looking forward to another great day together with our dales.
