I hope everyone had a great weekend and is enjoying the cooler weather this week!

In case you didn’t make it out to Guthrie Green on Saturday, here are some photos from Oklahoma Alliance for Animal’s adoption event, Rock & Rescue. More than 100 homeless animals were featured at the event and according to the group’s Facebook page, at least a dozen pets found new homes.

Does anyone know if those two corgis are for adoption? My sister has been desperately searching for one to adopt and just can’t find any.

I was there Annie, and I am pretty sure that those dogs are not for adoption. They were their with their humans just walking around and enjoying the festivities!

Thanks to everyone who made this event possible. Our dogs and our humans really enjoyed this event and 4 of our dogs found their own homes!! Great day and looking forward to next year.

Hi Annie, Lisa is correct. Though it was an adoption event, attendants were invited to bring their personal pets. Have you tried searching on petfinder.com? I found this corgi listed at an area shelter: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/26721297
