Angel is house trained, good on the leash, rides well in the car and has good manners. She does require tall fencing.

Name of Animal: Curly

Breed: Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever

Sex: Male

Age: 4-5 yrs

Known Shots: Fully vaccinated, neutered, heart worm negative

Adoption Fee: 175

Place this animal under: Large Dogs:15

Comments: My name is Curly, and if you are looking for sweet boy then look no further cause that’s me! My sister Mona and I lost our home due to human problems, and they contacted GPRO to keep us safe and take care of us while we find a fur-ever home! We are a bonded pair and need a home where we can stay together, double the love double the fun is how I see it lol! My sister Mona is a super good dog just like me; She has a profile and picture listed too.

To tell you a little about me, people call me a love bug cause I’m so sweet, love affection and I have never met a person I didn’t love. I’m about 4.5-5 yrs old myself, and I like kids & dogs of all ages and size. I know I’m suppose to ignore the cats and not chase them but sometime I can’t help having a little fun at the cats expense, so I need a cat free home. I have had some basic obedience training classes, i’m easy to walk on a leash, and I love car rides. My indoor time was mostly limited to cold winter nights, but I was always a good boy, and potty trained too. I am a laid back, calm guy that could easily be convinced to spend more time indoors with the family!

My foster mom says to tell you that I am up to date on my shots, neutered, heart worm negative and on prevention meds, and I’m a healthy guy ready to start my new life. If you think you could be my best friend forever, please submit an adoption at www.wix.com/gprofok/gpr cause it’s really lonely not having a family to call our own.

Rescue Group Name: GPRO

Submitted by: deanne

Name of Animal: Joey

Breed: Great Pyrenees

Sex: Male

Age: 2-2.5 yrs

Known Shots: fully vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and heart worm negative

Adoption Fee: 175

Place this animal under: Large Dogs:15

Comments: Joey is a 2-2.5 year old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepard male. He is a sweet, fun loving guy that acclimates well with other dogs and pups, and is cat friendly. He is well socialized with people, adores kids, has good leash manners and travels great on car rides. Although he was raised with goats as a family dog/farm dog he failed as a livestock guardian because he started chasing the babies which is a common issue with young lgds. Joey would do great as a family dog, he loves being with his people and is a mannerly boy. Joey prefers to spend most of his time outdoors but he does like to come inside and spend time with the family as well. He will not be adopted as a true lgd as he just didn’t take his job seriously enough, too playful and would prefer to be with his people; but he would do well as a family pet on a small farm as he is livestock safe for a family that either has adult livestock only or can restrict his access to the babies.

Joey is utd on vaccinations, heart worm negative, neutered, dewormed and utd on monthly heart worm and flea/tick preventative meds. If you are interested in adopting Joey please download the adoption application at our website at www.wix.com/gprofok/gpr

Name of Animal: Mona

Breed: Great Pyrenees/olden Retiever

Sex: Female

Age: 4-5 yrs

Known Shots: fully vaccinated, spayed and heart worm negative

Adoption Fee: 175

Place this animal under: Large Dogs:15

Comments: My name is Mona, and I hope if you are reading this that means you’re looking for sweet & loving cause that’s me! My brother and I lost our home due to human problems. So, now we need to find a fur-ever home cause it’s really lonely not having a family to call our own. I can vouch that my brother Curly is a super good dog just like me. He has a profile and picture listed too. We love each other very much and we need to stay together so we are looking for a new family that is looking for the double the fun and double the love.

People say to know me is to love love love me. I not only have a great personality, but I’m a pretty girl to boot! I love all people, even more than doggie biscuits! I’m about 4.5-5 yrs old, and I like kids & dogs of all ages and size. I’m not sure how I feel about cats, sometimes it’s fun to chase them so I am probably better off going to a home with no cats. I have had some basic obedience training classes, I love going on walks, and happy to go for car rides. My indoor time was mostly limited to cold winter nights, but I was always a good girl when indoors, and potty trained too. I am a laid back, calm gal that could be easily convinced to be your couch potato in-training, wink wink.

I am suppose to tell you that I am up to date on my shots, spayed, dewormed, heart worm and tick borne disease tested negative. If you think we could be the dogs for you please submit an adoption application at www.wix.com/gprofok/gpr

Sweet-Baby-on-Pillow

Rescue Group Name: Hecht Veterinary Hospital

Submitted by: Jamie Christy

Name of Animal: Sweet Baby

Breed: Mixed

Sex: Female

Age: About 6-8 years

Known Shots: Up to date on Vaccines

Adoption Fee: $110.00

Place this animal under: Large Dogs:15

Comments: Sweet Baby was rescued by a Good Samaritan who witnessed her cross highway 412 limping. The employees at Hecht Veterinary Hospital walked down the walking trail to help the Good Samaritan rescue the dog. As soon as Sweet Baby saw her rescuers she immediately came up to them limping, but waging her tail. X-rays revealed Sweet Baby had a dislocated hip from being hit by a car. The doctors at Hecht Veterinary Hospital were unable to get the hip back into place, so they performed a surgery called a FHO (femural head ostectomy). Sweet Baby is currently in the rehabilitation phase. She has been spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is monthly heartworm preventative. She is very sweet and loving. All of her medical bills have been paid for by wonderful people who helped by donating. The $110 adoption fee covers heartworm medication for Sweet Baby.

Here’s what the shelter folks had to say about me: “Good attitude. No animal, people, or food aggression. All around wonderful dog!”

Please come and meet me. I’m in Tulsa.
