Comments: Hi, I am Stone, I am about 23 weeks old. I came from the Pryor shelter with 2 siblings. As you can see I am over the sarcoptic mange. I am male and solid black. I am the shortest of my brothers and am the heaviest at 19 pounds. I am also the shyest but I love to be petted. I also like wrestling with my siblings and chasing balls and toys. I am still working on housetraining but I sleep through the night without going in my crate. I will receive my last vaccinations and be neutered in 2 weeks. I have an umbilical hernia but that will be fixed by the doctor when I am neutered. I am looking forward to finding my forever home.

Update I have now been neutered, had my hernia repaired and received all my vaccinations. I am ready for my new home. I have become more outgoing and am told that I am very calm and my foster mom was impressed at how I sat in my seat and didn’t try to wander all over the car. It looks like I will be a short, stout dog. My foster mom thinks I have Dachshund in me. I also weigh 24.5 pounds now and have 3 earrings. The senior lab that pierced my ear didn’t tell me it would hurt a lot, I think there was a mess up. I yelped very loudly and my foster mom rushed me to a “vet” who inserted 3 cool earrings but he said I only get to keep them for 10 days.

Comments: Hi! My name is Yoko. I came to Lab Rescue from a shelter in Arkansas. A nice lady got me outta there just in the nick of time. I am thankful because now I can run and play. I am spayed, and up to date on all of my shots and preventatives. I like to say I am 8 years young because I am not just any old granny–I’m as spry as the youngsters I live with! See me in action!

I am snuggly, love belly rubs, and would rather hang out with my humans than do anything else…unless you have a ball. I am a fetching machine!! I walk well off leash and I know how to sit, stay, lay down and speak! I love food and will do just about anything for a treat.

I live with a few other dogs, and it took us a little bit of time to get used to each other, but now we’re friends. If you take me home and have other dogs we will just need a proper introduction. I’m not sure how I feel about cats yet because I haven’t met any. I like to go for walks and to be by your side all the time, so as long as you give me attention that’s all that matters!

Come meet me at the next Lab Rescue event. Bring a treat and be ready to fall in love!
