Miracle-PAL-2-10-12

Rescue Group Name: Pet Adoption League (PAL)

Name of Animal: Miracle

Breed: Miniature Pinscher (Min Pin)

Sex: Female

Color(s): Black and Tan

Weight: 5-10 lbs

Age: Adult

Known Shots: all vaccinations, spayed

Adoption Fee: $100

Place this animal under: Special Needs Animals:62

Comments: Miracle is truly a miracle. She was running loose in a neighborhood and people tried to catch her and couldn’t. Someone finally caught her and she was very emaciated. Pet Adoption League provided her vet care, and it was discovered that she is diabetic. Now she gets insulin shots twice a day and has gained some weight. She is friendly, active and energetic. Miracle needs an angel to come to her rescue.

If you cannot adopt Miracle, please consider sponsoring some of her medical expenses. You can do that by going to http://www.pet-adopt.org or emailing mailing a check to P.O. Box 700934, Tulsa, OK 74170-0934.

Zelda-ARF-2-3-123

Rescue Group Name: ARF

Name of Animal: Zelda

Breed: Miniature Poodle

Sex: Female

Color(s): Silver

Weight: 17

Age: 7

Known Shots: All Vaccinations, Spayed

Adoption Fee: $125-150

Place this animal under: Special Needs Animals:62

Comments: Zelda is a female, 17-lb, silver mini poodle. Zelda’s estimated date of birth is August 2004. Zelda came to ARF with 14 other dogs from a retired Texas breeder. Zelda had to have surgery to remove a large amount of bladder stones. She will now need to be on prescription food (which doesn’t cost much more than a good quality food) but she shouldn’t have any future problems.

If you cannot adopt Zelda but would like to help out with her medical expenses, please visit http://www.arftulsa.org/makeadonation.html

Scooter

Rescue Group Name: Jenny’s Heart

Name of Animal: Scooter

Breed: Tabby

Sex: Male

Color(s): Brownish Gray, Black

Weight: 7

Age: 1.5 years

Known Shots: All vaccinations, neutered

Adoption Fee: $40

Place this animal under: Special Needs Animals

Comments: My name is Scooter and I was born Easter weekend 2010. I have lived as part of a colony of kitties that some nice people have been caring for, trapping, spaying/neutering, and finding homes for, over the past 5 years. Although I have grown up in a feral colony, I am very sweet and love to be petted.

I was caught in early November, and when the vet tested me, I tested positive for feline HIV.

I am a great cat and deserve a wonderful home with an owner who will love me and keep me indoors. I am understandably a bit afraid now that I have been living in a cage at the vet, and I need someone who will be patient with me as I adjust to the good life as an indoor kitty. Once I find a home, these nice people will take care of having me neutered and vaccinated, and front declawed if you wish.

I am currently staying with the kind folks at the Jenks Veterinary Hospital, 301 S. Elm in Jenks.  If you have the kind of heart and home that would be open to giving me a great life, please call Jordan at (918) 282-3670.

Remy

Rescue Group Name: OOPS (Oklahoma Orphaned Poodle Service)

Name of Animal: Remy

Breed: Miniature Poodle

Sex: Male

Color(s): White

Weight: 13 lbs.

Age: 7 years

Known Shots: all vaccinations, neutered

Adoption Fee: $150

Place this animal under: Special Needs Animals

Comments: My name is Remy. The good people at OOPS Poodle Rescue took me in when my owner developed Alzheimer’s disease and could no longer care for me.

I am a laid back guy, and I love to sit on your lap. I do great with other dogs, so a four-legged brother or sister would be fine with me. I am very sweet and friendly.

Unfortunately, I am blind from cataracts, but I adapt quickly to my environment, and I listen very well. I am a very good boy, and just need a home with owners who be patient and understanding.

If you cannot adopt me, please consider sponsoring some of my medical expenses. You can do that by calling (918) 698-4658 or emailing oopsrescue@cox.net.

Name of Animal: Tuffy

Rescue Group Internal Code (If available): 1872

Breed: Golden Retriever

Sex: Male

Color(s): Golden

Weight: 60-70 lbs

Age: 4 years

Known Shots: all vaccinations, neutered, microchipped

Adoption Fee: $250

Comments: If I look like I’m smiling in this photo, it’s because I’m loaded up and heading to my foster home. I’m a very happy boy. I was a lost soul who couldn’t find my way home and the great people in this rescue took me in and made sure I was taken care of. I’m a very calm, easy going boy who loves everyone. I’m very unique in that I only have 3 legs, hey who needs 4 legs anyway, I get around just fine with 3. I came into the rescue this way and vet says I was either born this way or I had surgery a long time ago. I’m a healthy boy who needs a permanent home, please ask to see me, I’m in Tulsa.

Pugsley 2

Rescue Group Name: Oneta Animal Care

Name of Animal: Pugsley

Breed: Puggle (Pug and Beagle mix)

Sex: Male

Color(s): Fawn and black

Weight: 28 lbs

Age: 5-6 years

Known Shots: all vaccinations, neutered, on heartworm and flea/tick preventative

Adoption Fee: $50

Place this animal under: Special Needs Animals

Comments: My name is Pugsley, and I am a very good boy.

I was rescued from a shelter by a nice lady who saw that I have potential and personality.

I cannot see, but please don’t hold that against me! I get around really well once I get used to my surroundings!

I’m about five years old, but I play like a puppy. I am 28 lbs (I’ve put on a bit of “holiday weight” and could stand to lose a few pounds.) :)

The nice folks at Oneta Animal Care (in Broken Arrow) are letting me stay at their clinic until I can find a forever home. I get along just fine with the resident clinic cat, and I like to play with other dogs.

I am a very happy and friendly guy, and I love all people!

I am waiting for a family to adopt me and love me.

If you can’t adopt me, but can help sponsor my medical bills, please call Oneta Animal Care to arrange a donation or mail a check to the address below (be sure to mark it “for Pugsley”).
