On May 12th, the Sapulpa Animal Shelter is having a “Good Paws Cause” clean up/fix up day! The Sapulpa shelter is old and in dire need of repair, so a group of good-hearted volunteers are going to donate their time that day to clean, do repairs, and give a general fix up to the facility. Pooches and the Sloppy Dog Wash are also donating gift certificates for all the volunteers working that day! The event is from 8-4 and the group is in great need of supplies.
For clean up, they need: Round Up; Kilz; bleach; long-handled scrub brushes; hand scrub brushes; Windex; heavy plastic gloves; paint brushes, rollers (w/extension handles), pans & blue painter’s tape; & heavy-duty garbage bags. The group said they would also accept monetary donations for specific needs supplies & materials like paint & doors.
And also needed for dogs & cats: Purina Dog & Cat Chow; dry & canned kitten/puppy food; leashes, collars, harnesses; sturdy, washable toys; large & XL black wire coated crates for showing dogs in the community & at adoptathons.
Donors can drop off supplies at the two Sloppy Dog Wash locations (4316 S. Peoria, Tulsa, or 732 W. New Orleans, Broken Arrow), or at the Sapulpa Police Department at 720 N. Walnut.

We are celebrating our 4th birthday on May 5 12:00 – 3:00. We will have hot dogs , sodas/waters & of course the dogs will be bobbing for hot dogs. Tulsa Boxer Rescue will be here too with adoptions. We hope you can join us celebrate 4 wonderful years at Camp Bow Wow!

The FIDO FUN RUN is a 1 mile run/walk at Claremore Lake. You can either walk as a participant or run to compete, but either way you are a team with your fuzzy buddy. We will have winners for each catagory of (Men/Women/Youth 12 and under). A $20/team registration fee and forms can be completed at the Claremore Shelter at 815 W Ramm Rd. All entries received by April 10 will receive a free t-shirt. Call @ 918-341-1260 for any question. Dogs are required to be current on Rabies vaccination and well socialized. We can email/fax entry paperwork to you.

Whole Foods Market in Tulsa will host an Earth Month Festival to raise awareness for sustainable and eco-friendly businesses in Tulsa.
Local businesses, artists, musicians and non-profits will be here selling their products, entertaining us and educating us on sustainability. We will have lots of giveaways and kids activities.
The earth Month Event will take place on Saturday, April 21st from 1-4pm in the expansion area of Whole Foods Market.

This fun-filled family fundraiser, now in its third year, will feature a 1 mile walk through the beautiful Haikey Creek Park in Broken Arrow. There will be plenty of water, food, and fun for pets and their human companions. All breeds are welcome!
Our day begins with registration at 9:00am at the Haikey Creek parking lot for registration of walkers, then at 10:00am the Bark Walk participants will walk along the trail and circle back to the area where we will host a Pet Fest from 10:30am to 2:00pm. This is the third year of the Bark Walk, we are anticipating attendance of over 1,000 visitors! We will have adoptions, $20 microchipping, pet contests, raffles, training tips and more!
