The Boxer Rescue of Oklahoma is a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to promoting the
well being and to the safe placement of homeless Boxers throughout Oklahoma. Our goal is to
provide loving homes and safe environments for both the dogs and the families who adopt from
TBRO. On Saturday, April 29, we are hosting the 8th annual Bark Walk and Pet Fest in Broken
Arrow at Central Park. Our primary desire for this event is to raise much-needed funds for Boxer
Rescue and to create a fun-filled day for all dogs and people with a kids zone including a bounce
house and crafts, and merchandise for pets and people. Additionally, we are inviting other rescue
groups to participate by giving a free booth for them to showcase their adoptable dogs and raise
money through merchandise sales.
Our day begins with registration at 9:00 at Central Park for registration of walkers, and then the
Bark Walk participants will walk along the trail (approximately 1 mile) and circle back to the area
where we will host the Pet Fest from 10:30 to 3:00pm. There is plenty of parking and space for
dogs and their owners to join in the fun! We are anticipating attendance of over 3,000 visitors!
We will have the MidFirst Bank coin donation truck, matched up to $1,000, pet contests, raffles,
food trucks, vendors and more!
How can you participate? There are several different methods:
Sponsor: Logo on the Barkwalk T-shirt; Vendor Booth; Website recognition; logo on banner at
event (visit tbro.org to see different sponsorship levels available) $250 and up
Vendor: 12 x 12 Booth Space $75
Raffle contribution: Contribute an item for our raffle
You can register for the walk, sign up to sponsor or find more information on our website,
www.tbro.org.
