Though it doesn’t quite feel like it yet, spring is here! And with it, the start of Bark in the Park season… or baseball and soccer season depending on your priorities.
Starting this Wednesday, you can take in a sporting event with your pooch at ONEOK Field. Over the years, the promotion has gained in popularity and more Bark in the Parks have been added to the schedule. Bark in the Park during Roughnecks games will also feature $1 beer, sodas and hotdogs.
Justin Gorski, director of promotions, says Bark in the Park initially was held once a year, but realized they had a whole new fan base in dog owners. Gorski said on Bark in the Park nights, there are anywhere from 100 to 300 dogs at ONEOK Field.
This year’s promotion will also feature pet vendors and adoption groups on site, said Gorski.
Be sure to check the Tulsa Pets Magazine website and Facebook page often for opportunities to win tickets to Bark in the Park beginning with the Roughnecks game on April 4.
Attending dogs should be up to date on vaccines and enter through the Oil Derrick or Arvest Brady Street entrance. Dogs are only permitted in the general admission lawn section or Budweiser Terrace. Dogs are free to enter.
